Dendrolimus punctatus Assembly

Chemosensory genes can be potential molecular targets to develop alternative strategies for pest control, and expression characters of chemosensory genes may be a cue of their functions. However, no information of chemosensory genes about D. punctatus were available now, let alone their expression profiles in different development stages and tissues. Here, we assembled and analyzed the transcriptomes of D. punctatus at different development stages and organs using next-generation sequencing, and reported the results of identification and expression profiles of sets of chemosensory genes.
