Follicle selection in chickens refers to the process of selecting a group of small yellow follicles (SY) with a diameter of 6-8mm to enter the grade follicles. The follicles selected by the follicles develop rapidly, ovulate and lay eggs. Follicle selection is a key factor affecting egg laying performance of chickens. The phosphorylation level of serine 65 of LSD1 (LSD1Ser65p) was significantly increased in F6 follicles after follicular selection. This study analyzed the mechanism of LSD1Ser65p modification, the effect of dephosphorylation on gene expression in chicken granulosa cells, and the function of FGF9 gene regulated by LSD1.
