Each inquiry includes sworn statements from witnesses and the Coroner's findings. The Inquiry into the death of George Richardson aboard the brigantine "Albion" includes a detailed account by Edward Fielding Palmer, surgeon, of Richardson's injuries, treatment administered and post mortem findings.The 1926 papers include reports by Police and statements from medical practitioners together with several District Registrars' Certificates for Burial, and Hospital admission slips. These relate to inquests that were dispensed with.Mr Edwin May, Chief Coroner for Sydney, presided over the 1930 inquests and inquiries. Causes of death include suicide, road accidents, childhood diseases and septicaemia following induced abortions.
