Effect of chronic waterborne exposure to copper on lipid metabolism in liver of Monopterus albus

This study aims to assess the lipotoxity of copper by transcriptomic analysis. our results show that excessive of Cu chronic exposure could induce lipid deposition by inhibiting AMPK and PPAR signaling pathways, and disturbing the homeostasis of glycerophospholipids metabolism in the liver of Monopterus albus. These comprehensive data and analysis provide insights for investigating the mechanism of copper on the fish lipid metabolism.
