NRS-3142 | Police charge and summons books [Milparinka Court of Petty Sessions]

The book contains information regarding the trial date, case number, complainant and defendant, the offence committed, act with which the magistrate made his decision, verdict, signature of magistrate and whether the person was fined or imprisoned. It appears that the proceedings were entered chronologically until the centre of the book was reached. The book was then inverted and the proceedings continued from the end of the book working towards the centre. There is an index at both ends of the book and a full list of magistrates who presided over court proceedings.
