North Sea whiting 2006/07 - Fisheries Science Partnership

To investigate stomach contents of North Sea whiting to determine their diet, and any possible changes to that diet since the last large-scale stomach survey in 1991. The project will specifically address the potential problem of predation of whiting on cod, which, if frequent, may affect cod recovery.本研究旨在探究北海鳕鱼的胃内容物，以确定其摄食习性，以及自1991年上次大规模胃部调查以来摄食习性可能发生的任何变化。项目将特别针对鳕鱼对鲑鱼捕食的潜在问题进行研究，若此捕食行为频繁发生，可能影响鲑鱼的恢复。
