The dataset concerns surface modification of Nitinol (NiTi) intended for cardiovascular implants used in atrial septal defect (ASD) closure devices. Surface engineering was performed using Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) to obtain functional coatings improving the biocompatibility of the material while preserving its mechanical properties. The study aims to evaluate the relationship between surface characteristics and biological response in the cardiovascular environment.Data based includes: transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis of coating structure and composition, wettability measurements and biocompatibility assessment using confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM).For more details, please consult the attached readme.txt file
