This project focuses on protecting investors from misinformation by leveraging AI for real-time verification of financial statements made by influencers on social media. It utilizes FAISS for fast similarity search, FinBERT for financial text embeddings, and web scraping of authentic financial news/statements sources (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg) to validate statements of Fin Influences. The system detects misleading or unverified claims by comparing influencer posts with trustworthy financial resources helping investors make informed decisions.
