De-identified data for "Mathematical-Literacy and Generative-Artificial-Intelligence Adoption in Higher Education: Compensation, Empowerment, or the Creation of New Disparities?"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the de-identified, participant-level responses underlying the findings reported in the associated article. Data were collected via an online survey of 658 undergraduate students at Israeli higher education institutions (recruited through the Panel4all online panel). Variables include demographic background, mathematical-literacy items and total score, AI-literacy items and subscale scores, reported reasons for and types of Generative-AI use, cluster membership, and the computed scores used in all reported analyses (PCA, Pearson correlations, independent-samples t-tests, two-step cluster analysis, and chi-square tests). The Excel file includes a "Codebook" sheet defining every variable and its value codes. To protect participant privacy, direct and indirect identifiers were removed: the original survey Response ID (replaced by an arbitrary sequential participant_id), year of birth, and free-text "other language" responses. No names, e-mail addresses, IP addresses, or panel identifiers are present.
