The aim of this study was to analyze the differences in the composition of gut microbiome in prediabetes(PreDM), type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and non-diabetic controls. To establish predictive and diagnostic models for T2DM and validate the meaningful gut flora and other relevant risk factors screened from the T2DM predictive model to screen for high risk groups for diabetes, and provide early intervention to reduce the incidence of T2DM in the population.Fecal samples were collected from the participants and genomic DNA was extracted and the V3~V4 regions of 16sRNA were sequenced.
