It introduces a novel and formally articulated category of defence theory—Sovereign Meta-Defence—which operates above technical systems, military doctrines, cybersecurity frameworks, and artificial intelligence architectures. Unlike conventional security or defence models that focus on how systems are protected, SMD-X determines whether defence itself is lawful, who may authorize it, how escalation is constrained, and how sovereign authority is preserved under failure, emergency, or autonomous system stress. The framework is explicitly designed to prevent authority drift, legitimacy erosion, and uncontrolled escalation in digitally mediated defence environments. SMD-X is intentionally non-offensive, non-operational, and non-weaponized. It contains no tactical guidance, no exploit methodologies, no intelligence tradecraft, and no implementation-level instructions.
