data for "Animal-borne accelerometers do not reliably identify social calls from tagged humpback whales"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset comprises data and code used in 'Animal-borne accelerometers do not reliably identify social calls from tagged humpback whales'. In this article, we test whether high sample rate accelerometers in biologging tags on humpback whale feeding groups can reliably estimate focal status of vocalizations. We use validation datasets in which all members of the group are tagged to determine how often vocalizations are associated with an accelerometer signal, and whether accelerometer signals are recorded on tags from non-calling animals. This dataset consists of acoustic and acceleration data for extracted and labelled calls from 12 animals in 5 social groups (3 pairs and 2 groups of 3), concatenated data tables, and the code used to label calls, extract features, and combine data tables.
