Temperature profile data were collected from the SLAVGOROD and MIKHAIL VERBITSKIY in the South Atlantic Ocean from May 19, 1985 to September 18, 1988. Data were submitted by Alexander Klepikov of the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute and Sevribpromrazvedka. Additional funding for digitizing historic data was provided by GODAR.
