CERP Site 1 Impoundment - Threatened and Endangered Species Survey and General Fish and Wildlife Inventory

This project involves conducting detailed environmental surveys of land needed for the construction of the Site 1 Impoundment. The surveys shall include a determination of the presence or absence of threatened and endangered species, an inventory of other fish and wildlife species present, and a determination of the relative abundance of species encountered. This project will require a literature and data review, followed by field surveys. Among species to be noted are the wood stork, eastern indigo snake, West Indian manatee, crested caracara, gopher tortoise and burrowing owl.
