Dynamics and stage-specificity of between-population gene expression divergence in the Drosophila melanogaster larval fat body (RNA-seq in a derived population)

We used RNA-seq in a derived European Drosophila melanogaster population from Germany (MU) to examine coding gene expression variation in the larval fat body during the late wandering third instar stage. Overall design: Gene expression profiles of five isofemale strains from a German (MU) population of D. melanogaster. This RNA-seq data was generated for dissected female larval fat bodies during the late wandering third instar stage with 2-3 biological replicates per isofemale strain.
