Datasets for the effects of nitrogen and biochar additions on methane uptake in a subtropical forest soil

We conducted an 84-day incubation experiment to examine the effects of varying biochar input rates on CH4 uptake under different N addition levels in forest soils, to elucidate the interactions between biochar inputs and N additions, and quantify threshold responses of methanotrophic and methanogenic processes to biochar input under N-enriched scenarios.
