River Restoration Habitats Index

This is a GIS layer that displays where all the NRW ‘River Restoration Plans' are across Wales. These plans were created to help identify pressures, impacts and opportunities to restore the water bodies in accordance with the EU Water Framework Directive. All the information has been extracted from within the plans, which can be requested from Natural Resources Wales. There are no limits or caveats regarding the use or interpretation of the data. Most recent NRW reports can be found on the Natural Resources Wales website Natural Resources Wales / Research and reports.
