In the present study, lactic acid bacteria biota in the eight sourdough samples collected from three commercial bakeries in Turkey were investigated by a combined approach. Culture-independent analysis for microbiota diversity was performed by MiSeq Illumina and Lactobacillus spp. were identified as the major group in all samples.
