To establish the regulatory roles of TaTFL1-5 in wheat axillary bud development , we identified the regulated genes whose transcriptional activities are associated with relative abundance of TaTFL1-5 transcripts by transcriptomic analysis. Differentially expressed genes are mainly enriched in the metabolic pathway and the lifetime metabolic pathway, but also in many plant hormone signal transduction pathways such as auxin, gibberellin, brassinosteroids and cytokinin. Overall design: Three biological repeats of the wheat axillary bud from tfl1-5(Mutant-1, Mutant-2, Mutant-3) and Fielder (Fielder-1, Fielder-2, Fielder-3) were used for RNA sequencing.
