Three soil samples, representing three hearths from an open campsite
were analyzed for pollen and macrofloral remains. A single radiocarbon age
of 1400 ± 60 BP was reported for one of the hearths. Pollen addresses
elements of the prehistoric environment, as well as possible subsistence
activities, while macrofloral analysis addresses subsistence activities
involving plants.
