Tribological and surface analysis data for nitrogen-ion-implanted Inconel 718

The dataset contains experimental results from tribological investigations and surface layer studies of Inconel 718 subjected to nitrogen ion implantation. The data represent primary measurement outputs obtained during laboratory experiments.The purpose of sharing the dataset is to provide access to experimental results enabling analysis of the influence of nitrogen ion implantation on friction behaviour, wear, and surface layer characteristics. The dataset includes data from friction tests, wear track profilometry, and GXRD and SEM-EDS measurements, without interpretation or aggregation.
