The discovery of Weyl-Kondo semimetals opens new possibilities in both the fundamental understanding of how topology and strong correlations interplay and in providing new functionality for future topological quantum devices. Ce3Bi4Pd3 is the first representative of this new materials class. Very recently, the first ab initio-based correlated calculations have been performed and indeed find several Weyl nodes near the Fermi level. The crystal field level scheme needed to be used as input in these calculations. With the proposed work we want to determine it experimentally to confirm that these calculations were valid, or elase perform them again in the corrected scheme. Here we intend to scrutinize this picture using temperature dependent RIXS at the Ce M5 edge
