资源简介:
Charles Melbourne Ward (1903-1966) was an actor, naturalist and marine collector. At the age of 23 years, he abandoned the stage for marine zoology after he discovered a red crab which was named Cleistostama wardi after him. Mel worked overseas, travelled widely collecting artefacts and zoological specimens which led to published papers in Australian and international scientific journals. He collected for the Australian Museum and donated his scientific collections and library to the Museum
