Response of Flux, Source, and Reactivity of Particulate Organic Matter to Typhoon-Induced Heavy Rainfall in a Large River-Influenced Bay

This study conducted two field cruises in Laizhou Bay (LZB), a semi-closed bay with multiple river inputs, to compare the impacts of riverine pulses on POM dynamics during post-Typhoon Lekima and a non-Typhoon period. Typhoon-induced heavy rainfall significantly altered POM composition and fluxes.
