Data from the analysis of human T cells loaded with magnetic nanoparticles and functionalized on the cell surface with either redox-active metal compounds or photodynamic therapy agents.

The project will develop “smart” hybrid immune-cell machines: human T cells loaded with magnetic nanoparticles and functionalized on the cell surface with either redox-active metal compounds or photodynamic therapy agents. Guided to tumors by an external magnetic field, these magnetic T cells will enhance tumor infiltration and then either alleviate tumor redox stress to sustain T-cell function or deliver PDT agents for light-activated, localized tumor killing with improved efficacy and reduced systemic toxicity. The dataset consists of experimental data generated throughout the project.
