资源简介:
This study investigates the thermal influences on clogging and declogging processes within the benthic biolayer of intermittent streams. The data collected is categorized into the following four types:
Hydraulic Conductivity DataMeasurements of hydraulic conductivity were taken to assess changes in sediment permeability under varying thermal conditions. These data provide insights into the impact of temperature on water flow through sediment layers.
Porosity DataPorosity measurements were conducted to determine changes in sediment structure, particularly focusing on the void spaces that influence fluid movement and microbial activity. The data are critical for linking thermal variations to sediment compaction or expansion.
Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) DataSEM images and analyses were used to examine the surface morphology of sediment particles. These high-resolution visualizations reveal biofilm coverage, mineralogical changes, and sediment structural integrity under different thermal conditions.
Tracer Test DataTracer experiments were performed to evaluate solute transport behavior through the sediment matrix. These data help characterize changes in connectivity and flow paths during clogging and declogging phases.
Each dataset contributes to a comprehensive understanding of how temperature regulates sedimentary processes and microbial community interactions in intermittent stream environments.
