资源简介:
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of endogenous non-coding RNAs with regulatory functions found in eukaryotes, and their size is about 18~25 nucleotides. Mature miRNAs are produced by the long primary transcript through a series of nuclease cleavage processing, and then assembled into RNA-induced silencing complexes, which recognize target mRNAs by base complementary pairing, and guide silencing complexes to degrade target mRNAs or inhibit the translation of target mRNAs according to the degree of complementarity. Recent studies have shown that miRNAs are involved in a variety of regulatory pathways, including development, viral defense, hematopoietic processes, organ formation, cell proliferation and apoptosis, fat metabolism, and more.
