Monday Demonstration in Leipzig on 12 Feb. 1990

Topics: Evaluation of personal prospects for the future; fear of
increase of violence and aggression; understanding for citizens of
the GDR leaving; fear of impending unemployment; fear of increasing
neofascist tendencies; frequency of participation in demonstrations
since 9 October; opinions on possible topics and goals of the
demonstration: equal rights for contradictory positions, distribution
of information materials by the Republicans; mottos for national
independence of the GDR, picked as central theme of the election
campaign; opinion on intervention of the police in violent conflicts;
