Knowledge, Attitude and Practice towards COVID-19 Prevention at the beginning of Pandemic in Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia

June 17th 2020, confirmed cases numbers reached 8,061,550 people
worldwide, while in Indonesia reached 40,400 people, North Sumatera reached
over 932 people. To counteract the growing number of cases, the general public
needs to have an adequate understanding of how the COVID-19 virus spreads. In
North Sumatera various information have been broadcasted through different
media types, but no reduction of confirmed cases numbers happened. With the
uncontrollable spread, it is needed for a uniform perception to produce a
reasonable practice to face the COVID-19 pandemic.
