Data Use: This geocoded point-layer of urban agriculture sites in the City of Dallas was compiled from several lists dated from 2017, 2018, the summer of 2022, and November 2022. The sites were verified by their online presence, satellite imagery and site visits. Acres were calculated with polygon digitizing over productive areas revealed by the satellite imagery. This is an active layer in the webmap, COD Social Health UA, and it is used for urban agriculture suitability analysis in the 2023 Comprehensive Urban Agriculture Plan (CUAP). The presence of an urban agriculture site is a factor in determining Urban Agriculture Priority Areas in the CUAP.
