This statistic shows the share of Internet users aged between 25 and 34 who purchased articles of clothing and sportswear online in Italy in 2016, broken down by population density of the area of origin. According to the study results, respondents from sparsely populated regions were slightly more likely to buy clothes online: 19 percent of them had made this kind of purchase online in 2016. By contrast, 14 percent of respondents from densely populated areas (over 500 people per square kilometer) had purchased such goods online in the same period.
