RNA-seq of Argyranthemum frutescens petal to three light intensities.

Integrated transcriptome and metabolism provide insight into the response of petal color of Argyranthemum frutescens to different light intensities. At the bud stage, Argyranthemum frutescens were randomly assigned to three light intensitiy treatments: Weak light, medium light and high light. These findings elucidate potential mechanisms underlying light intensity-mediated flower color regulation in A. frutescens, providing a theoretical basis for ornamental flower color improvement.
