The aim of the study is to identify novel synthetically lethal gene pairs within cancer cells that could potentially be therapeutically targeted in the future. To achieve this, we designed a bespoke dual guide CRISPR library targeting our gene pairs of interest and used this library to screen a panel of cell lines from a background of melanoma, NSCLC and pancreatic cancer.
