Emergency Communication Systems: A Systematic Literature Mapping - Dataset

This dataset contains the formal artifacts and research metrics from a Systematic Literature Mapping (SLM) on Emergency Communication Systems (ECSs) conducted between 2020 and 2025. The repository provides the necessary data to ensure the reproducibility of the study's selection process, including: (i) complete bibliographic records in .bib format for all retrieved, excluded, and primary selected studies (70 articles); (ii) the structured research protocol with exact search strings used across Google Scholar, IEEE Xplore, and ScienceDirect; and (iii) comprehensive search and retrieval statistics that document the evolution of the selection flow and the temporal distribution of the identified technological axes. These datasets offer a verified bibliographic foundation for researchers focused on resilient communication architectures, decentralized infrastructures, and autonomous disaster response systems.
