UK Met Office Forecasts and Observations

Data from the UK Met Office API.

Forecast data split over 6000+ locations across the UK, every 3 hours for the upcoming 5 days. Includes history of forecasts data.

This data is very useful for NHS organisations to help predict impact on A&E activity. It is also useful for predicting possible increases in DNAs (Did Not Shows); that is where patients fail to turn up for appointments.

The data is split by location and region and so you can use it in geographic based analysis.

It also has historic forecasts. Some customers use historic forecasts to discover correlations between patients choosing not to attend appointments as a result of predicted bad weather.
