This is a collection of the stills held at the AFI Research Collection (AFIRC). The collection contains the promotional stills, slides, and negatives from films and tv shows internationally. The stills have been collected by the AFIRC as part of donations from film critics and researchers over the years, as well as from donations by the Australian Film Institute (AFI) (many of the stills come from films that the AFI had exhibited or helped to distribute).
