We constructed a series of biofilm communities with different biodiversity by diluting the input source community. Then the responses of different biofilms in facing pH sharp decrease were monitored.
The sampling site was the Chinese Research Institute of Environmental Sciences (CRIES). The samples were cathodic biofilms from a microbial electrolysis cell.
