Identification of trancripts regulated by the Listeria monocytogenes two-component system regulator VirR by RNA-seq

Here we use RNA sequencing to identify the regulon of the two-component system regulator VirR under normal growth conditions. We generated an in-frame deletion of the virR gene and extracted RNA from this strain grown to mid-log phase in LB as well as the 10403S parental strain.
