Comparison of arithmetical mean and median of scopularide A production for 1

The coefficient of variation (V) is given for the arithmetical mean and the median (m) for scopularide A production (n = 3) in 100 mL and 1 mL cultivation format of 22 randomly selected mutant strains, the wild type strain LF580 as well as the mutant strain M26. In addition, the percentage of samples beneath the arithmetical mean is given in bold numbers. Two third of the samples of the 100 mL cultivation laid beneath the mean deviation. In contrast, the 1 mL cultivation showed a three-time higher mean deviation and a median of the coefficient of variation.
