Genomic data of Hippophae salicifolia (one female and two male haplotypes)
收藏资源简介:
Hippophae salicifolia (willow-leaved sea buckthorn) is restricted to the Himalayas, to the south of the common sea buckthorn, growing at high altitudes in dry valleys; it differs from H. rhamnoides in having broader and greener (less silvery) leaves, and yellow berries. A wild variant occurs in the same area, but at even higher altitudes in the alpine zone. It is a low shrub not growing taller than 1 m with small leaves 13 cm long. [source Wikipedia]
In-depth analysis of the genome of one female and two haplotypes of male Hippophae salicifolia. The genome size of the female was 788.28 Mb. The sizes of the two haplotype genomes were 1,139.98 Mb and 1,097.34 Mb. The sex-determining regions (SDR) of H. salicifolia was 29.71 Mb and contained 249 genes. A comparative analysis of the haplotypes of Chr02 of H. salicifolia revealed that the Y chromosome was shorter than the X chromosome.
