This utility certificate relates to a guide adjustment mechanism provided on a power cutting tool for guiding the power cutting tool to make a straight cut. The guide adjustment mechanism includes an adjustment member and an adjustment actuator configured to actuate movement of the adjustment member. When the adjustment member is in the first position， the at least two adjustment blocks do not protrude from a side wall surface of the guide slot so that the width of the guide slot is uniform， when the the adjuster is in the second position， the at least two adjustment blocks protrude from the side wall surface such that widths of portions of the guide slot corresponding to the at least two adjustment blocks are narrower than widths of other portions of the slot guide， so as to keep the guide slot parallel to the guide rail during sliding， thereby improving the stability and accuracy of the electric cutting tool when it is slid on the guide rail.
