Construction of synthetic anaerobic dechlorination microbiome to degrade chlorinated ethenes: Application on metabolic interactions principle

30 mL of cultures were collected in 50 mL centrifuge tubes after 10 days of reaction. The tubes were sealed with sealing film and sent to Shanghai Biozeron Biotechnology Company. Once the raw data were received, several analyses were conducted to evaluate the changes in dechlorinated community diversity. Included OTU classification and statistics, analysis of sample composition abundance, assessment of intra-sample diversity, evaluation of inter-sample variability, analysis of species relative abundance and correlation, as well as examination of community functional variability.
