资源简介:
Database tracking the evolution of nominal Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in current US dollars (billions USD) for the main Latin American countries between 2000 and 2024. Includes data for Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Uruguay and Paraguay. Data extracted from World Bank historical series and supplemented with ECLAC statistics. The series shows generalized regional growth driven by the commodity boom, as well as contractions associated with the 2008-2009 financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic (2020) and country-specific situations such as Venezuela. Brazil and Mexico lead as the region's largest economies, while countries like Venezuela experienced severe contractions from 2013 onwards. Data covers key years (2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020, 2023, 2024), with approximate values based on trends reported by official sources. Primary source: World Bank (data.worldbank.org); supplementary source: ECLAC (estadisticas.cepal.org).
