Listeria aquatica strain:SG_BD1 Genome sequencing. Listeria aquatica strain:SG_BD1

We report the draft genome of Listeria aquatica isolate obtained from a cow dung sample which has been collected from a cattle farm in Bangladesh. This is the first genome draft of this bacterium reported from Bangladesh. So far there are only few reports on the whole genome sequence data of Listeria aquatica. This draft genome sequence will therefore enlighten our current understanding of the characteristics and distribution of this bacterium in the environment as well as will provide invaluable insights into their evolution and ecology.
