资源简介:
Acheilognathus striatus is famous for its obvious black stripe over the body to the caudal peduncle, which enables clearly to distinguish in life from all species within the Acheilognathus genus. This study clarifies the taxonomic position of A. striatus by analyzing mitogenome data. The circular mitogenome measures 16,692bp in length, containing 13 protein-coding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA sequences, 22 transfer RNA sequences, and one non-coding D-loop region. It shows obvious AT skewness and anti-G bias. All PCGs are started with AT-, except COX1, which is started with GTG. There are 9 PCGs terminated with the stop codon TA-, while COX2, COX3, NAD4 and CYTB end with the incomplete codon T--. Taxonomic trees were constructed with 22 species of Acheilognathinae, as well as the subfamilies Gobioninae and Leuciscinae as the outgroup. The phylogenetic tree confirms that A. striatus as the sister group to R. shitaiensis. This study will enrich the mitogenome of the Acheilognathinae.
