Data for: The Jurassic/Cretaceous boundary in Lebanon. Revision of the Salima Formation

This work involved analysing or revising tens of petrographic thin sections of limestones from some key localities presently preserved in various collections (see Supplementary Material): A) material collected by Toland, stored at Oolithica Geoscience Ltd., Cheltenham (United Kingdom), B) material collected by Azar, Gèze, Granier and Maksoud, which is stored at the Natural History Museum of ‎the Lebanese University, Faculty of Science II, Fanar El-Matn (Lebanon), and C) material collected by the already named investigators, as well as by Dubertret and Vautrin, which is stored at the "Laboratoire de Paléontologie de Brest" of the "Université de Bretagne Occidentale", Brest (France).
