Microarray and differential expression analysis were used to identify the noncoding RNAs (ncRNAs) and mRNAs that were expressed abnormally between the cartilage from KOA patients and healthy controls (miRNA).

miRNA expression, three patients with KOA and three paired healthy controls Three patients with KOA and three paired healthy controls were recruited from the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University from January 2020 to April 2020, and all of them were all Han Chinese men aged 40-60. Their corresponding clinical parameters was collected. The cartilage of KOA patients and healthy volunteers were collected from tibia plateau. All samples were immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen before RNA isolation.
