The data is sourced from ILOSTAT, the International Labour Organizations central statistics database and a leading global source for labour statistics. The dataset includes detailed disaggregation dimensions such as sex (total, male, female, other), occupation classification (by skill level), and institutional sector classification (public/private). Each observation contains country codes, year, indicator value, data source, observation status, and relevant notes. The data is harmonized by ILO following International Conference of Labour Statisticians (ICLS) definitions.
