Physics-based simulations for testing validation metrics for regional-scale velocity models

This dataset is part of the study "Performance Evaluation Metrics for Velocity Models used for Numerical Simulations of Ground Motions for Seismic Hazard Applications", developed by C. Pinilla-Ramos, N.A. Abrahamson and I. Liou and submitted to SRL. We simulated nine small-to-moderate earthquakes in the San Francisco Bay Area. The waveforms from each earthquake are in a self-contained Xarray file with the station coordinates, Fourier amplitudes, spectral acceleration, and waveforms in the time domain.
