4G LTE Cellular Measurement Dataset for Transportation Mode Recognition in Urban and Semi-rural areas in Saudi Arabia

This dataset contains detailed 4G LTE cellular measurement logs collected using Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphones running Nemo Handy software during 172 trips across four transportation modes: walking, bus, car, and train. Data was collected in three distinct environments in Saudi Arabia: the urban cities of Makkah and Jeddah, and the semi-rural KAUST campus. The measurements include RSRP, RSSI, RSRQ, CQI, RI, PCI, timing advance, handover events, and GPS location data. The dataset supports research in transportation mode recognition, mobility analysis, and network performance evaluation.
